About how many days does it take for someone to pass a quarter.?

With all seriousness my friend recently passed a quarter though his digestive track. He can't remember eating it. It was very tarnished and we are trying to figure out if it was from a long time ago or recently.
Answer:
Um - when we recover coins in the hospital emergency room that people have passed, they're quite the opposite of tarnished. Not only that, a quarter is so big it will quite readily lodge in the throat and likely kill the person trying to swallow it. I think your friend is putting one over on you!
usually 3 days
Most likely he ingested it within the last four days...
48hrs to 72 hrs is what it took me when i swallowed one playing quarters
Thank God it wasn't a penny the stomach acids will eat away the outside of a penny leaving a small sharp disk like the cut-away part of a can and will damage internal organs!
