Advice for sunburned eyelids?

alright so yesterday went to kings island and even though i constantly keep reapplying sunscreen still got burnt, to the point i swear my eyelids are sunburned too, what can i do to prevent this again? any product thats safe for eyes? and is there anything i can use on my eyelids to like help it heal and feel better like idk aloe vera?
Answer:
What kind of burn is it? If it is a first degree burn, put a cold washcloth or teabags on it. If there is an eye-safe ointment, then use that on them. If it is a second degree burn, DO NOT use ointment. The best thing to do is the cold washcloth for about 20-40 minutes. I'm pretty sure that is what we learned in first aid...nothing for eyes really but that is the general burn treatment.
Wet tea bags (cold of course) will help with the pain as for prevention no idea
wear sun glasses or keep your eyes open
In order to prevent this from happening again, wear sun glasses with a UV block. In order to sooth the burn you can use aloe vera, just becareful not to get it into your eyes.
