A pain in the arm with swelling but don't know the reason, what could it be?

If you get a severe pain in your right arm and swelling with it even to the hand, a soreness that even hurts to the lightest touch, what could that be? No evidence of a bite and no injury has happened, it just started doing this. Can anyone help?
Answer:
BLOOD CLOT
could be a blood clot, contact your doc or go to ER.
I think they call this a symptom of "tendonitis".often we see others with braces impacted with, cool or warm gels, worn daily...may i suggest you seek a proffessional for furthur diagnosis, and remedy...often times this symptom may appear when using that particular part of your body so muc that there is swelling and tenderness...such as being on computer and the repetition and use of same muscles.
i had the same thing happen to be when i went to a sports doctor he said i had tendinitis and put my arm in a sling it helps at the time
