and after numerous tests was diagnosed with M.S which was devestating for us all,although she has been feeling fit and well for the past couple of weeks she has lost a stone in weight since then,she is 7st 8ozs now.She is on tablets called carbamazepine,has anyone had similar problems to this.

hi julie,i have been taking carbamazapine from i was 12,i am now 36 and i am 9st.no matter how much i eat i never gain more than 2-4lbs.maybe this weight loss of your daughters is nothing to worry about,although i am not a doctor.hope this helps lessen your worry.p.s.i am a male and 5 foot 10 inches
