my arms have been aching from my elbow to my fingers. it feels like i have been lifing weights what could it be.

This sounds like tendinitis and you need to see a medical doctor or physical therapist for treatment. I would take a break from lifting weights until you see the doctor.
i am not sure only advice i can give is see a doctor no mater what the answers here are givin it is better to b safe rather than sorry
